Homes on The Peninsula in Cornelius are made for lake living: big views, outdoor entertaining and plenty of time spent on the dock and patio. Your technology needs to work just as well outside as it does inside.
Sound Advice is a locally owned company with 20 years of experience installing home systems around Charlotte. We are based at 1235 East Boulevard and serve Lake Norman homeowners within roughly 20 miles of Charlotte.
Luxury Home Theater
A lake home is a great place for a luxury home theater project, from a lower-level theater to a living room system built for game days with family and friends.
TV Mounting, Including Brick and Stone
We mount indoor and outdoor TVs with clean wiring and weather-appropriate placement. Our TV mounting service also covers TV mounting on brick and stone fireplaces.
Lutron Motorized Shades
Waterfront views come with strong sun. Lutron motorized shades control glare and heat while keeping the view, and they can lower automatically as the sun moves across the lake.
UniFi Whole-Home Wi-Fi
Coverage that reaches the dock, boathouse and backyard takes a planned network. We install Ubiquiti UniFi access points designed for both indoor and outdoor coverage.
Starlink Internet
Lake homes can have limited wired internet options. We install Starlink to combine with, or replace, your existing internet, using dual-WAN failover so your network switches over automatically. The goal is 100% whole-property coverage. Sound Advice was one of the first Charlotte contractors to offer professional Starlink installation. Learn more about Starlink professional installation and Starlink internet backup with dual-WAN failover.
Video Walls
We also install video walls and digital signage for businesses around Lake Norman and Charlotte.
Smart Home
Control lighting, shades, music, TVs and cameras from one place, whether you are home or away from the lake.
Open 365 Days a Year
Lake weekends do not keep business hours, and neither do we. We are open 365 days a year, holidays included, from 8:30 AM to 8:00 PM.
