Dilworth is our home base. Sound Advice is located at 1235 East Boulevard, right in the neighborhood, and we have been serving Charlotte as a locally owned company for 20 years.
Dilworth's bungalows, renovated historic homes and newer builds each bring different challenges, from plaster walls to tight floor plans. We plan every installation around the house you actually have.
Luxury Home Theater
Not every luxury home theater project needs a dedicated room. In many Dilworth homes, we design a living-room or den system with discreet speakers and a great picture that disappears into the decor when not in use.
TV Mounting, Including Brick and Stone
Mounting above an original fireplace is one of our most common requests. We handle TV mounting on brick and stone fireplaces safely, and our TV mounting service keeps wires hidden in older walls.
Lutron Motorized Shades
Lutron motorized shades are a simple upgrade for street-facing windows, adding privacy and light control without heavy drapery.
UniFi Whole-Home Wi-Fi
Older construction and additions can block Wi-Fi. A Ubiquiti UniFi system with well-placed access points gives fast, consistent coverage from the front porch to the back garden.
Starlink Internet
Even in the city, outages happen. We install Starlink to combine with, or replace, your existing internet, using dual-WAN failover so your network switches over automatically. The goal is 100% whole-property coverage. Sound Advice was one of the first Charlotte contractors to offer professional Starlink installation. Video Walls
Many of our neighbors run businesses nearby, and we also design and install video walls and digital signage for offices, restaurants and retail.
Smart Home
We set up smart lighting, music, TVs and cameras that are easy for the whole household to use.
