Wi-Fi and Network Requirements
Everything in an Apple Home depends on the network. We install Ubiquiti networking components, an American company. HomeView's personal features need each person's iPhone or iPad on the same Wi-Fi network, and cameras, AirPlay audio and smart accessories all add traffic. Apple HomeView Wall Mounted Installation
The wall-mounted version of Apple HomeView comes in Space Gray and Silver and is designed for places like the entrance or hallway. Apple notes it requires wired power, and the compatible wall mount, USB-C cable and USB-C power adapter are sold separately. Apple offers both wired and plug-in wall mount options. Our licensed electrical contractor runs power to the mount location and sets the height and placement so the display is easy to see and reach.
Lighting Control by Lutron
Lighting is where an Apple Home feels most useful: scenes like "Good Morning" and "Movie Night," lights that respond to arrivals and schedules, and dimmers that work from the wall, from Siri and from HomeView. Motorized Shades
Motorized shades that work with Apple Home can open with the sunrise, close for afternoon glare, and join your scenes. We choose to install Lutron. We measure, install and power them, and wire them during remodels where possible so you never change batteries.

HomeView supports AirPlay multiroom audio. We pair it with in-ceiling and outdoor speakers, HomePod and streaming amplifiers so music can play in one room or the whole house, including the patio and pool.
AppleTV and Streaming
Apple TV 4K is the easy center of a family room or home theater. We mount TVs, hide wiring and set up sound so one remote runs everything.

Do I need an iPhone to use Apple HomeView?
Apple says a full, personalized experience needs an Apple Account, a compatible iPhone or iPad, and membership in the shared home in the Home app. Guests can still control accessories, set timers and play music.
Will my existing smart devices work?
Apple says accessories need to support HomeKit or Matter. We check what you have and recommend replacements where needed.
Can HomeView be mounted on a wall?
