Selecting a TV for Outdoors
Nowadays, there are companies that make televisions especially designed to handle outdoor environments. With rugged, sealed enclosures and weatherproof materials, these special televisions are impervious to all that Mother Nature can dish out.

What size do you recommend?
If all you want to do is sit around the tiki hut and watch weekend sports, a 32" to 50" weather-resistant flat panel TV will work fine. Sound Advice can securely install it on a swiveling mount that will make it easy for everyone to see.

For those big parties, you’ll want an equally big TV
Using special weather-resistant video projectors and video screens, Sound Advice can recreate the same big screen home theater experience that you enjoy in the media room outdoors by the pool or patio. On a beautiful evening, it’s probably the most enjoyable way to watch a movie, your favorite sports, or whatever. Hey, drive-in movies were popular for a reason.

Am I going to need special speakers?
You’re going to need speakers designed for outdoor use. Conventional speakers simply won’t last when exposed to the elements. Also, keep in mind that the outside environment is not an enclosed space, so it takes more power and more speakers to adequately fill it with sound. Your Sound Advice system designer will have lots of creative ideas for ways to integrate outdoor speakers into your system.
